It’s been in the works for quite a while and means another milestone in the Play.fm history. So, what can you do with the Play.fm app? Here are some features:

How does the app work?
After launching the Play.fm App the user is welcomed by the Play.fm team’s “Featured List”. Other Tabs lead from here to the most popular and the most recent DJ sets. The four main navigation buttons offer the functions “Search” (searching the entire Play.fm database for DJ’s, clubs and festivals), “Genres” (where the music is sorted according to style), and “More” (among other things, this button hosts a possibility for feedback, general help, and sharing functions via Twitter and Facebook on the iPhone app).

The app is available for € 2,99 on iTunes, zune marketplace and Android market.
You get 90 days of unlimited listening time. After 90 days you can listen for 5 hours per month. Continuous unlimited listening time on devices is part of an upcoming premium service launching in the second quarter 2011. While listening to Play.fm on the website will always be free we will add some fancy new features that you need to subscribe for.
